The Challenge
Outstanding Branding is a well-established promotional products company with nearly 10 years in business. Known for their tight-knit team, strong workplace culture, and creative product solutions, their brand had one major gap; a consistent social media presence.
Despite understanding the value of social media, their team simply didn’t have the time to manage it. At one point, the team had a meeting on utilizing social media but just like most businesses, the plan quickly fell through the cracks. As client work and sales demands took priority, social media efforts were pushed aside.
What Outstanding Branding really wanted was greater brand recognition and a stronger digital presence. They knew that when potential customers discovered new businesses, they often checked platforms like Instagram first. But their own feed lacked the consistency and content that reflected who they were as a team, what they offered, and what made them different.
Outstanding Branding needed someone to bring their brand to life online without adding extra stress to their small team’s workload.
The Strategy
To help Outstanding Branding build a consistent and engaging online presence, we created a simple weekly content strategy tailored to their team’s capacity and brand voice. The focus was to make social media work for them, not add more stress to their already full plates.
We started by implementing a structure of one post per week, designed to keep the brand active and top of mind. These weekly posts featured a mix of product highlights, seasonal gift ideas, and behind-the-scenes moments from their team. This gave them a way to showcase both new arrivals and their most popular product lines, while also giving customers a feel for the people and personality behind the brand.
In addition, we introduced a monthly video post, something light and engaging, to bring more life to the feed and humanize the brand. These videos helped tell the story of their culture, their process, and their team in a way static posts could not.
To support ongoing growth, we also built in occasional business updates, promoted their referral program, and ran giveaways to increase reach and engagement. The strategy was built to be consistent, flexible, and most importantly, easy to maintain while still driving brand recognition and community connection.
The Result
After launching the new content strategy, Outstanding Branding saw immediate traction online. Their very first Reel under the new plan outperformed their previous content by a wide margin, delivering a 15x increase in views compared to their last posted video.
Overall, their post and Reel engagement increased by over 7 times, and they began reaching a wider, more relevant audience across Winnipeg and beyond.
A key driver of this growth was a targeted giveaway campaign, which not only boosted engagement but directly contributed to their follower spike. In just one month, Outstanding Branding gained 260 new followers, a major leap for a business that had previously struggled to maintain consistent visibility.
The strategy helped them build real momentum on social media, turning their once quiet feed into an active, on-brand presence. Now, they have a clear system in place to stay top of mind with their audience while keeping their team focused on what they do best.
